3 Quick and Easy 'Sweet' Baby Food Purées


















1. Kiwi, Pear and Spinach Purée

Ingredients


1 Kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
Handful of spinach leaves, lightly steamed with excess liquid squeezed out
1 Large Pear, peeled, cored and cubed


Method

Place Kiwi and Pear into a saucepan. Cover with boiling water and simmer for a few minutes (or until the fruits are softened). Transfer to blender, add spinach and blend to desired consistency. 


2. Banana and Mango Smoothie

Ingredients


Half a Banana, peeled and sliced
Half a Mango, peeled and cubed


Method


Add raw ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth


3. Raspberry and Apple 'Jam'



Ingredients


Handful of Fresh Raspberries
1 Red Apple, peeled, cored and cubed


Method


Add ingredients to a saucepan, cover with boiling water and simmer for a few minutes (until the apple is soft). Transfer to a blender and blitz to a pulp. Strain mixture through a sieve to remove seeds. Cool. I use this to jazz up Harry's morning porridge rather than as a pudding as the raspberries can be a tad sharp without something creamy to go with them.
