Escape to the Country

Sometimes it is necessary to retreat from the daily grind and recoup your sanity somewhere more serene.
My annual deadline at university is looming large and whilst I couldn't take time off from preparing for it, I could up sticks with my laptop and do my work somewhere less depressing than the postgrad office. Up the east coast I fled, homeward bound to my parents house where I could break up work with the incentive of a walk in the countryside with the dog and the wild garlic.
IDEAL.

I love my parent's house. A move back to the country is something I wouldn't rule out.

Walking buddy.

Back home tomorrow and 10 days to deadline day. When will this hell end. Urgh. Roll on May 1st.
